Polymeds has two licenses for human medicines:
1. A wholesale license under number 6637 G. Such a license is required for obtaining medicines in the Netherlands and the countries within the EEA (European Economic Area; the EU Member States plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) and for delivering them.
2. A manufacturer's license under number 6636 F. Such a license is required for those who prepare, have prepared or import medicines (importing is obtaining medicines from outside the EEA (European Economic Area; the EU Member States plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein).
Polymeds is involved in the packaging and labelling of medicines. These are preparation activities and a manufacturer's license is therefore also required for this. A manufacturer's license includes the right to deliver and export self-prepared and imported medicines.
