Polymeds has a veterinary medicines license under number 2870 FGL. It is a combination of two separate licenses:
1. The manufacturing license (F) is mandatory for those who prepare, process, handle, label or package veterinary medicines, including filling and closing the primary packaging of that veterinary medicine.
Polymeds is involved in parallel import, whereby veterinary medicines are obtained from countries within the EEA (European Economic Area; the EU Member States plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). They are made suitable for the Dutch market through packaging and/or labeling.
2. The wholesale license (GL) is mandatory for the trade in channeled veterinary medicines (URA/UDA/UDD) with the exception of supply to animal keepers.
